Guide rail clip bolts are structural fasteners that clamp the T-section guide rail to its supporting brackets via purpose-designed clips. They must be tightened to a specific torque value to provide correct clamping force without distorting the rail. Incorrect torque — too loose or too tight — can cause guide rail misalignment, vibration transmission, or rail cracking. High-tensile grade 8.8 or 10.9 bolts are typically specified, with prevailing-torque or locking nuts to prevent loosening under vibration.
