Corner profiles serve three functions: they conceal the raw edge joints between cladding panels, protect corners from impact and wear damage, and contribute to the visual language of the cabin interior design. Standard profiles are extruded from 6063 T5 aluminium (anodised or powder-coated) or cold-formed from 1.2–1.5 mm stainless steel strip (304 grade, HL or mirror finish). Custom profiles can integrate LED strip channels for indirect accent lighting along cabin edges. Corner profiles are typically mechanically fixed with concealed screws to the cabin frame uprights, with snap-on cover caps for clean appearance. For hospital and care-home lifts, corner profiles are often specified in contrasting colours or with tactile warning stripes per accessibility requirements. Profile height must span full wall height (floor to ceiling finish) with no exposed raw edge at top or bottom.
