The auxiliary power supply is a dedicated power module (switching power supply or linear regulated supply) that provides stable low-voltage DC power (typically 24 V DC) to the elevator control system, safety circuit monitoring, floor level sensors, hall call boards, and communication systems, independent of the main motor drive power.
