The Akar SMT 225AC-30 is an upper-mid-range permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM) gearless traction machine designed for heavier passenger and service elevator applications in commercial and mid-to-high-rise buildings. Its high-torque direct-drive motor delivers exceptional smoothness, low energy consumption and very low noise levels throughout its operational life. The large-diameter Ø500 sheave is engineered for multi-rope configurations providing high traction reliability under sustained heavy loads. Rated at 1200 kg and 2,50 m/s, the SMT 225AC-30 complies with TS EN 81 and is compatible with all major VVVF frequency inverter systems.
