The AKIS AK1 is a compact gearless permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) designed for residential and light commercial elevator applications. Its direct-drive architecture eliminates the gearbox entirely, resulting in quiet operation, reduced maintenance and lower energy consumption. The 210 mm sheave is compatible with standard 6.5 mm ropes, and the motor is certified for use with VVVF frequency inverter drives. Ideal for machine-room-less (MRL) installations in buildings up to 12 floors.
